Topical Shows Promise in Treating Precancerous Cervical Condition

Yale Cancer Center researchers found that imiquimod suppositories, with or without the 9-valent HPV vaccine, can effectively treat cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) grades 2 and 3. Their phase II trial showed a 95% regression rate for CIN2 using imiquimod alone, offering a promising non-surgical alternative to traditional treatment. Read more here.
